June 16th we left Florence and traveled by train again this time to Rome where we stayed at the Guest House Arco dei Tolomei in the
Trastevere area of Rome.
We toured the Vatican Museum with a tour guide which used up one of our mornings. We also had a trip down to
Pompeii for a day.
Then Marco our host at Arco dei Tolomei recommended Rome's Capitoline Museum which had an exhibition, called
Lux in Arcana which has some of the Secret Documents of the Vatican. So instead of visiting the Colosseum we decided to visit the exhibition.
