Venice June 5th to 11th

                                         Our First View of Venice coming in from the Airport by Boat

While in Venice we stayed in a couple of Bed and Breakfast hotels. The first one we stay at was Hotel Campiello which was very close to St Marks Square.

The second hotel was the Hotel Residenza the room here was a little larger than the Campiello but the
breakfast room didn't feel as comfortable it felt like you were in a library and had to be quiet

We are on our fifth day in Venice and we have done a lot of walking including many steps as there are lots of bridges over the canals and it is easy to get lost in the twist and turns of the city.

It is also interesting to see the everyday life of the people of Venice, their deliveries are made by boat or handcart and garbage is picked up the same way.
