When we pulled into the campsite we had a welcoming committee of ducks who then came to visit each morning.
While drinking coffee one morning John saw a squirrel suddenly fall with a broken branch into to lake behind us. We walked down to see if we could see it but we only saw bubbles.
About to walk back we looked up in the nearest tree and there was the bedraggle squirrel looking a little worse for wear after his unexpected bath. Now we know squirrels can swim.
