Disney World

We are at the KOA in Kissimmee the address is Happy Camper Place, it's so apt, and it's been nice to settle in for a while.

John has been doing some caulking on the seams that had cracked and shrunk so that we won't have any water getting into the seams while we are away or while we travel out west.

We've been to see Mickey and Minnie who are extending their Fantasy Land area, we also visited Epcot and Animal Kingdom. I guess we don't have the stamina we used to have, we both came back exhausted and we just took our time walking around.

I found the lines for the rides are now very long unless you get the fast pass but then you end up back tracking a lot, so we just went on some of the rides with shorter wait times. John's not into rides anyway so he was happy.

We had a problem with one of the awnings before we left Port Charlotte. It's an electric awning and the motor was not working correctly, when bringing it back in. John investigated and decided we need a new motor. So that is on order for when we get back from England.

I thought by getting a new trailer we would have a while before it needed any repairs. I guess they don't make things to last more than a year these days.

Now we are getting ready for our trip to the UK and Italy. I fly on Saturday and I have a box with a small rocking horse of Kate's, and a large bag packed with things for Kate, and one bag almost ready with my things. I'm taking the rocking horse and John is taking the large bag when he goes over on the 19th.

At least we will have a bit more room in the trailer when we get back, even a little helps when you don't have much storage space.

Plans for Italy are in place, we now have a tour of the Vatican booked and our hotels in each city are confirmed. Looking forward to the trip as I've never been to Italy before.
