We just checked into the KOA in Bismarck North Dakota and John gave the truck and trailer a quick wash to get off some of the dust and dead bugs that we picked up along the way.
We finally got the slides adjusted on the 7th at Tiara in Elkhart it only took the tech guy about an hour and a half to adjust them so we were on our way by 10 am in the morning.
This time we headed up through Wisconsin after passing below Chicago and then on through Minnesota to Grand Forks Campsite in North Dakota. Not the best campsite we have been in, we had a gravel road to drive down to reach the campsite and when it rained the campground got rather muddy. If we had only known there is a really nice campground on the other side of the Red River in East Grand Forks, Minnesota if we ever come this way again that is where we will stay.
We arrived in Grand Forks on Friday and on Saturday we drove over the river to go to Cabella's I needed to replace the jacket I lost in Italy. When we got there we found they were having a parade for their 125th Anniversary so we stopped and watched for a while.
Then on Sunday we were joined by Jack and Linda, our friends from Winnipeg. They were our neighbors in Port Charlotte during the winter. Linda told us that the Red River flows north to Winnipeg so we learned another interesting fact. We had a very enjoyable couple of days with them even though the campground wasn't the greatest.
Tomorrow we are heading to Medora and the Theodore Roosevelt National Park.

Love parades, gives you the flavor of small town Americana. You look like you are having a grand time with your friends..although I can't imagine you not having a good time!! Enjoy, stay safe.
