We sold the house on a 5th of October 2011 and have now started our journey as full-timers. We're traveling in the 2011 Carriage Cameo 37 5th wheel with three slides. Normally it's rather spacious, but at the moment it is a little over stuffed as we are carrying several things that will be going to England in the near future.
We left Canton, Ohio on the 6th after staying at Clays Park for a few days while we made last minute decisions on what we could and couldn't take with us.

Then we drove down to Charlotte, NC and stayed at the Fort Mill KOA for a few days, to visit with John's sister and to drop off a few bits and pieces including two of our dining chairs we don't think we need to carry with us. We intended to drive down to St Augustine while we transferred our residency to Florida, but the weather changed our minds. We decided to stay up by Jacksonville to avoid the heavy rain and winds that were being forecast for St Augustine.

We stayed at Flamingo Lake RV Resort and while there we met another couple contemplating going full time. I had a coupon that we couldn't use that I had picked up at the Tampa RV show for reduced price for a month stay at any of the Carefree Campgrounds. So I gave them the coupon and they are going to try to use it in December at a campground they had been looking at as a home base. When we left they were planning on going home to sell up. We exchanged information and may see them in December if they make it back down to Florida.
After transferring our residency, getting new drivers licenses and finishing up our other paperwork, we moved down to Lake Magic RV Resort in the Orlando area so we could look for a place to store the trailer when we fly from Orlando for our visit to England in 2012.
